“ New Mexican place with a twist - sea food! At least new for me. Great variety on menu with some traditional Mexican favorites. Wife loved the margarita variety. Service was excellent and the restaurant looked new inside. Going back to try something of the dishes I ha never heard of. Sushi if you want. Heard it was good (not for me!). ”

Although, they were super busy, the waiter Carlos was great and patient with our group. I love the ambiance that fits the name of the restaurant and aesthetic outside were nautical fitting of the name. ”

“ First time to El Barco! We loved our food!! I had the Burrito Chori-Pollo with the rice and beans on the side rather than in the burrito. It was oh so delicioso! My friend had the Enchiladas Rancheras. She loved them. Drinks sure were beautiful except they were a disappointment. I had the Berry Piña (aka Pineapple Mojito) and my friend had a flight of Margarita's. My drink had no flavor, I tasted the pineapple - no flavor at all. El Barco did not let the pineapple ripen. I have never ever had a problem ripening pineapple on my counter. Usually, it takes about a week. Once you start to smell the pineapple, it is ready to eat. All of the margarita's just didn't taste good. I don't know if someone new was mixing our drinks or not. I have only heard rave reviews on the drinks. So needless to say we were rather disappointed with the cocktails. Other than that - I am hooked on the Burrito Chori-Pollo! The refried beans were delicious too! ”
